Mandated Reporters: Knowing Your Role in the Protection of Our Children
We all have the responsibility to protect our children from harm, Child Protective Services Law requires certain professionals to make reports of suspected child abuse and neglect to Childline. These professionals are called Mandated Reporters and may include:
• Teachers and Educators
• Childcare Providers
• Health Care Providers
• Social Service Providers
• Foster Parents
• Law Enforcement Personnel
• Spiritual and Religious Leaders

This training helps you gain the 3-hour requirement per the CPSL. “Mandated Reporting of Suspected Child Abuse” is appropriate for all mandated reports. The training is specifically approved by the Department of Human Services in accordance with Act 31 of 2014 and approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services in accordance with Act 126 of the Pennsylvania Public School Code.
